FS - 993 bilstein HD shocks with H&R springs - height adjustable coilovers
SOLD
993 bilstein HD shocks with H&R springs (height adjustable coilovers). Everything is in very good condition with less than FOUR thousand miles. This setup is off a c2S turbo, but would bolt onto any 993. $1190 + $65 shipping or local pickup in Seattle. These were $2k new.

Carnewal sells this setup for around $1700 including shipping.. might actually be more. My setup has less than 4k miles on it.. its practically brand new. I think $1190 + shipping is more than fair.

Without searching the numerous threads on this topic (yes I'm too lazy right now!) how do the HDs compare to PSS10s for stiffness? I want to get ROW ride height and ride.
Thanks

HDs depend on the springs installed. H&R are on the stiffer side with M030 springs in the middle and M033 on the soft end. PSS10s are adjustable so it's possible to set it softer than M033. There is a chance of bottoming out with PSS10 on the softest setting if the road bump is sufficient.

Selling used suspension items is kind of a crap shoot. I have a 97 that I could use them on. I am willing to pay $750 plus your shipping of $65. Let me know.

I've never heard term "coil overs" till I bought my Porsche.
What puzzles me is that they are all coil overs on all the cars I've bought...there is a spring coil on the outside of my all my factory shocks...on my Honda, Toyota, Mazda...etc.
So can someone please explain why a different term is used for these shocks? Or are we using a term just to be different?
