I've had a frustrating weekend installing a Rennline fire extinguisher mount in my '87 Carrera. Although it's advertised to work in MY '74-'98 911s, the seat rails in my stock '87 manual passenger seat rails have 3 M6 bolts each, yet the Rennline mount only came with 4 M6 bolts (I did purchase the manual seat version). And those bolts are narrower in diameter than the bolts that came out of my seat rails. So either I'm misunderstanding how to install this mount, or it doesn't really work in an '87. What does this have to do with a 993 you might ask? I also bought a mount to install in my '95, but I don't want to go to the trouble of pulling the seat out if I'm going to run into trouble installing it in my 993 as well. Anyone know if the Rennline manual seat mount will install without issue in a '95 993 with manual seats?

I went with a BK universal mount which allowed me to tuck the FE all the way against the carpet and as much of the way as possible (I have it mounted on the drivers side with the BK quick release).
