New Car ****!!!!
Hey fellow listers,
I had to post this new photo of the GT3 Tek 993 RS aero kit installed on my 95' for your viewing pleasure. This image was professionally shot for the GT3 Tek website and Performance Products porsche parts catalog last week.
I cannot begin to describe how pleased I am with the transformation from stock to RS look. As I have stated in the RS polyurethene rocker post, the parts fit the same as factory and used all the factory fasteners without drilling holes all over my car. The only new bolts are holding the tail on and use the factory holes the bottom inner grill mounts to.
I finished the build with new (to me) BBS LM 19" x 10.5" rear and 19" x 8.5" fronts with some 275/30/19 & 235/35/19 Nitto 555's mounted up. BBS & Wheel Enhancement say this wheel and offset will not fit a narrow body 993 but as you can see they do fit but just barely. I tracked the car last weekend to verify fit and had zero rub issues. If I didn't run at least 2.5 deg negative camber all the way around, the rears would rub the fender real bad, so if you have a street suspension set up on your narrow 993, stay with the 18"s.
Don't forget that GT3 Tek has a group buy going on the RS aero parts until the end of February so if you were considering doing an RS aero upgrade this is the most cost effective way to do it. SEE THE THREAD "RS side rockers in Polyurethane" and you will be able to find all the pricing and other info or PM me since I set up the group buy.
