Ocean Blue C2S

Today I previewed a RUF 993 Targa for sale at Barrett-Jackson!

Here are a couple of pictures, it is a low-mileage 993 with over 400hp, it is an Ocean Blue Targa a 1998 model. It is item # 436, and I believe it should be "on the block" tomorrow, Wednesday... check it out on their website. I am still in Scottsdale, I thought it may create some interest on the forum.

This RUF 993 Twin Turbo is listed as having 45 thousand dollars in upgrades and has just over 34Kmiles on the clock. Also listed as "Special Order' colour, "Ocean Blue Mettalic", that is the colour of my C2S and is not listed as "Special" on my "Certificate of Authenticity", I took a couple of pictures of the window sticker, but this listing does not allow me to send those as a PM...

This is the Park Place Motors car discussed earlier. I saw it in their showroom a few weeks back and IIRC they were asking around 90K for it. For that price, I would expect a wide body conversion as well, but I'm sure the power/torque of the RUF conversion would keep anyone smiling for quite a few miles. I wonder how the Targa roof is affected by all that monster torque .....

What a scam, just as the bidding stalled at 50k magically a "phone" bidder pumped it up. This looks to me as if the owners were not going to let it go at the 50 ish mark where it stalled so they bid it up themselves.
