Do they come with new hardware or do you reuse the old fasteners?
IIRC they look thicker than the stock "plastic" ones.

They are the same thickness as the OE covers so they use the same HW.

Hi guys,
What's the consensus on replacing the upper VC's (vs. the lowers). I imagine the lower covers are the first to leak/need attention. True?
Any merit to changing just the lower valve covers? How hard is it to change them, upper vs. lower?
Just curious. I have 35,000 miles and have not serviced my VC gaskets since new. Yet. I assume mine will start to leak as soon as the GB ends!

I personally don't see a need for changing the uppers ...seems expensive for what is typiclly a non-issue. It's the lowers that will leak if they're gonna leak. The uppers "may," but if it's dry now I'd leave well enough alone. At this price, I'd buy a pair of lowers and just sit on them until you need to get in there, or if for whatever reason you're doing other work.
