Rennspeed, got my splitters...
My previous Rennspeed thread was closed, for what reason I know not.
Picked up the GT2 splitters from Rennspeed last Friday. Meet with the owner, Peter, nice chap.
The GT2 splitters seem very well made...I mocked them up on my front bumper this afternoon. The fit is good, needs a wee bit of tweeking...this could be optional if I were not so picky.
I will let them cure for a bit, prep them for paint...and let the magic happen.
My Getty Design front bumper splitter will be coming off. Maybe some lucky Rennlister will take it off my hands?

I'll take a pic tomorrow.
We seem to have some interest in the GT 2 splitters, could be time for one of you to coordinate a group buy?
In the pic, the splitters are raw fiberglass...need to be prepped and painted...with a tiny bit of fitting to do.

I'll have some pics...
in a few weeks. I forgot to shoot them today
The GT 2 splitters and my front bumper are at the shop for paint and a covering in 3M. I hope to get them back soon!!!!!!!
I will also let you know how much hassle it was to get the perfect fit. I snapped on the splitters, the fit was very good...just a wee bit of tweeking needed. I could have run them without the tweeking, but that is not how I roll!

I can facilitate...
Rennspeed is within driving distance. Every other week I am in SoCal and could swing buy Rennspeed. I don't want to coordinate the buy...one of the interested parties needs to step up and take charge.
I will (see below):
1. Inspect the goods,
2. Be certain that they are packed up and ready to ship,
3. Take the goods to a "friendly" site and have them shipped to you.
If there were a Group Buy, I would have Peter (The owner of Rennspeed) pack the stuff up...I would inspect ever piece before it went into the box. I would take the boxes to a pal's business (Strasse USA) and have them shipped from there to you. I think Strasse USA will do this from me.
I think if there were five (5) orders, we (you) could get a deal. I would be looking for a minimum of 20% off. Out of state (Cali) orders would not have to pay sales tax. You would pay Peter directly with Pay Pal...I don't want to handle peoples money.
I can also put the hammer on Getty Design for five (5) sets of splitters. He has excellent quality stuff, as good as Rennspeed but more expensive. And there is always MA Shaw, a Rennlist sponsor.
If we pull this off, I would ask that whenever you are looking for Porsche parts, you give Strasse USA (Gabe) a shot at the business. His prices are super good...he only handles Porsche parts and has 25+ years of experience. He is as good as Jeff at Sunset. Gabe was a former manager form Automotion, a parts house that was later acquired by Performance Products. I receive no renumeration or compensation from any parts you buy from Strasse USA.
