Found a 993 -95 that has one airbag deployed. Seller says driver side is OK, but I guess both airbags activate at all times on impact. Can anyone clarify?
Thanks in advance

The 993 got a impact on driver side and airbag on passanger side is deployed. I read about airbags on Rennlist and I assume this can happen. Strange anyway.

I'm not intimately familiar with the design of the 993 system, but it is a "first generation" system, so both airbags should deploy from the same fire signal. There is definitely something amiss with the car you are refering to.
In later generation cars you may have a simple passenger seat occupancy detector, so if the car crashes with only a driver, then only the driver airbag fires. Never the other way round.
