Ojai travel and offroad performance of Sumi HTRZ 3 and ROW MO30
Had a recent "no kids" weekend getaway with the Mrs. up to Ojai, CA. Thought it would be a clever idea to stop at the Old Creek Ranch Winery on the way up: http://www.yelp.com/biz/old-creek-ra...winery-oakview
Apparently it's not reasonable to expect bridges over every body of water on the road to an established winery. Half a mile from the winery we were confronted with said Creek. Trouble for a garage queen...but there was wine on the other side! It seemed fairly shallow and slow moving. Fortunately...I was right. I may have even rinsed off some brake dust...handy! The winery is actually pretty cool with some nice wines in the $24-$28 range. Also recommend Ojai as an easy getaway from LA.

I was just in Ojai yesterday visiting friends on my way back up to the Bay Area. I had been in Camarillo for a few days with family and I thought I would take the scenic route from Camarillo to Ojai up through the canyons.
Then form San Louis Obispo I went out to the coast and went up hywy 1 through Big Sur till Monterey. What a great day of driving!!!

So, did you make her walk through the water to get the pics, or did you drive through, drop her off, and then back up?
I need to know.

It looks like he just stayed in the car and sent his wife as a scout first with the camera, with the excuse of taking the picture, to see how deep she would sink before deciding to proceed with the car. Smart man!

No can do. Don't want crik water tracked onto the new Lloyds mats!
Yes. Busted. The whole thing was staged. What's more incriminating is that this was on the way back out, so the car actually made 3 trips through the drink before wifey started shooting.
Hey, the Beetle floats, so I'm sure that the 911 floats even more goodly.

So...AFTER drinking you decided to stage this little event but when you were on the way to the winery (supposedly sober) you plowed right through...... hum.
Just bustin' your chops, sounds like a good time.

Thanks. Husband, wife and 10 month old son are all enjoying the advantages of breast feeding.
Just part of sound decision making. Actually, we thought of shooting it on the way in, but we'd been on the road for almost 2 hours, and nature was calling...
