Default LWF on a Tiptronic?

Hi There

Is it possible to fit a LWF to a Tiptronic car? I wonder what problems it might cause?

I am trying to avoid dropping my engine (I need to do the left hand side timing cover) but it looks like I might have to. And I have read posts about doing it engine in situ but it looks really tough. I already have the whole of the exhaust system off.

If I do then it is the sort of mod I would consider while I am there.

Anyone done this?

Thanks

Berni

No, sorry.

The tip has a torque converter and flex plate setup. The flex plate is as light as it can be and the torque converter is important.

Hi Mark

Thanks for the reply. I assumed that it ran a standard flywheel and then slotted into the converter. I should have had a look at the parts diagram.. doh!

One less thing to think about when I am bored.
