I think I'll leave mine on, then when it becomes hard to find my unmolested pristine as from the factory 96 will be all that much more valuable while you non engine tray heathens regret your dog sledding shenanigans.
Of course... the added value of the tray will be only slightly offset by the blue smoke trailing from your exhaust tips as your valve guides melt.

I have my engine tray on. But really don't know why. I wish I had it on when I spun last year - think it would have protected my manifold heater jackets better...
