Frankly, I would love to have Darin down here for Cars and Beer in Socal.
But he can't come down when there is nothing to fix. This is not a muffler problem.
Perhaps he should come for a local event or something. He could set up some appointments with Socal customers (I've never seen so many 911s in my life) and make some sales.
Chris W has generously offered to have me over to take a look. I'll probably take him up on that this weekend.
I called 2 shops yesterday and, as expected, they decided over the phone that the problem is motor mounts or mufflers. They already have it figured out! didn't seem to care that there are a dozen guys with the same setup and no complaints. I'm sure they would graciously offer to rebuild my motor and fix the problem.
