Hello,

I may have finally found my car.
Last 3 attempts this week, the car was already sold.

95 Coupe with 48k miles, LSD, new seats, PSS9, M30 sway bars, RSRs, RS short shifter, Sport Design 18, etc.

3 owner car, current owner bought the car from the dealer 10.5 years ago.
Car is aventurine green with tan interior with recent front seats.

All maintenance history, some scratches/chips on the front bumper and typical pitted windshield but owner seems honest about the car condition.

Price is negotiated to $31k, which I think is fair.

Anyway, I have to move fast and was wondering if anybody from the Scottsdale area could give the car a glance over for me during the week-end to make sure I should move forward.

Also any shop to recommend for a PPI, I would love to schedule one for Monday/Tuesday as another buyer is planning on scheduling a PPI for next week too and I don't want to miss on this car. I would fly in on Friday and drive it back on Saturday (12 hr drive !!!!).

Don Jackson Enterprises did the PPI on my car. Ask for DJ. I think the mechanics name is John. They even stored my car for 3 months until I could pick it up.

Car looks very nice. Have the front seats been recovered? I've never seen the contrasting piping on a 993. Maybe exclusive option?

The seats look to be from a 964.

Thanks all. In the maintenance summary pdf the guy sent me it shows the front seats were replaced. I agree I have seen those on 964 too with the contrasting piping.

I'd be happy to look at the car for you. It actually looks familiar.

Also, if you want a really exhaustive PPI I'd second the recommendation of Frank Beck. You will end up knowing every issue on the car that exists.

Never used to be a big fan of the "Sport Classic" wheels but they really seem to work on the more subtle metallic shades such as this, Arena Red, Slate Grey etc. Hope the car checks out as it looks very nice. (Though I may have a soft spot for just about every 993 produced!)
