from the rod?

I am working on replacing the wooden driver side floor board and need access to the 3rs screw at the lower right hand corner behind the gas pedal.

Hehe... Sometimes the simple answers are right. I was going to recommend a BFH, but that usually does not end well with our cars.

A little bit of heating with a heat gun or blow dryer makes it much easier to take off and especially put back on.

And put a dab of grease on the ball before re-assembly.

Or use Vise Grips against the floorboard to keep the rod from retracting when you apply pressure to the pedal to reattach.

Looks great Bill. I only got the driver's side one on my car. Did you have to drill any holes on the passenger side?

Pass side is just sitting there, I need to paint and do the carpet before it's finally installed, but yes there is drilling. Rennline has the instructions online.

Bill, Looks good, but think of all of the unnecessary extra weight, you will have to carry out any remaining RS mods you have yet to do, in order to restore the balance!

RS is more of a guide not a goal

What would I do without my laptop, an internet connection and the Rennlist archives? I'm in the middle of installing my Rennline pedal board and was having the same trouble as Bill. I vaguely remembered that there was a ball and socket in back of the accel pedal but needed some R'list assurance before I did something stupid.

I've found it easier to just unscrew the rod from the linkage and just mark how many threads of engagement you have to keep adjustment the same.
