Hi,
Just a public kudo to Joe March for helping me with an oil change DIY for my Ruf. There is no substitute for experience and Joe pointed out all the ropes to know. His full lift in his gulf-blue/orange garage does wonders.
What's best is that he had my daughter Melissa did most of the hands on work. For an auto-tech student hoping to work on Porsches one day this is just great experience. The reward for all his troubles? a few boost-checks in the Ruf.

So uber-thanks to Joe and the Rennlist spirit. Peace and a happy new year to all.

Great to hear. Sure turned out easy, hmm? I went from oil change, to full service, to...........having a holed piston to deal in little over 3 months of 911 ownership. We know how that's turned out almost 30 years later!

Joe,
Compared to 993, the Cayman is a piece of cake. You can take that for an EXTENSIVE test drive afterwards. Not that much power, but handles brilliantly.
Happy new year to all.

I had a pretty good week. On Tues, Mark D let me drive his fantastic 993TT. On Wed, I got to drive a 997S (loved it). Then on Thurs, it was Pong's BTR.
Sadly, we did not take pics. However, just envision the car below in black, with a turbo and about another 150hp and you'll get the idea.
Cheers,
Joe
