Wise decision. I've been skiing for only 2 years longer than you but it took my son starting to ski at age 4 to get me in a helmet. Knew I wouldn't have an anwer for "why do I have to wear one if you don't". Now I can't imagine skiing without it. Hope you get lots of ski mileage this year.

I bought myself a 993. <grin> 1997, straight car, no issues, 40K miles. I'm particularly happy because this means my 1989 Carrera isn't just "my Porsche" but "the first Porsche in my growing collection." A very happy holiday.

Here it is!
Here is my x-mas present as pictured at the dealer. 1995 C4 with 91K miles. I decided that daily drivers should be fun since it's an hour of my life each day. Besides, it's much safer than an MGB and handles better too! It was a very well-kept car that looked brand new inside. The shift linkage is smooth and crisp and the clutch has only a couple thousand miles on it.

Unfortunately with our weather lately, it's going to be awhile before I get to check it out.
I also snagged the aluminum shift **** a few weeks ago and have not had the opportunity to really check it out either.
Now all I need is the Al. e-brake.
Spring will be here before we know it.
