My wife-to-be bought me a 1995 993 C4 for Christmas this year. We had talked about it for quite some time and I have wanted one ever since they were new so imagine how excited I was when she suggested we go test drive some! By the way, this forum is awesome and the collective experience on here is priceless for DIY mechanics!

Cheers!

I bought myself a 993. <grin> 1997, straight car, no issues, 40K miles. I'm particularly happy because this means my 1989 Carrera isn't just "my Porsche" but "the first Porsche in my growing collection." A very happy holiday.

Thanks, Mike! I can't wait to ride it. Need to wait for pedals, post, seat and Xpel stuff.

Yahoo! Another Female on Rennie Congrats Betsy. Your going to love your 993. I miss mine, but I am looking, again.

Love all the Babies guys.
All I got on Christmas Day was a card, BUT that is all I asked for. We need seats for the new toy and I'd rather the $$$ go to that than to another piece of Jewelry for me. I only have one neck, two ears and ten fingers. I don't need anymore stuff to decorate them with.

Happy New Year Everyone!

A very happy holiday. Betsy
Welcome, and congratulations. Grey is a great colour for 911s, and you'll enjoy the differences between your two cars.

Thank you! I joined in 2006 when I picked up the 1989 Carrera -- have been reading on and off since then but this is my first (well, second) post. Couldn't be happier with the 993.

And yes, happy to take my place among the Porsche ladies!
