Hey e9stibi ~ Happy Holidays ..... (very nice comprehensive ebay ad-)
The ebay auction show's two parties requesting a Buy It Now option.... Wow didn't know the CD version of our 993 radio vintage was sought after.

Good to know if things get bad I can always sell my 993s CD radio and or sell blood..... I'm just saying. Have a Merry Christmas and Neu Year....

The CDR 210s prices have taken a sharp rise lately. Good time to sell! I just sold a CR 210 for $140.

I should have a CDR 210 for sale in a few weeks. I have a 220 on the way but will have to get the faceplate mod. from Becker done before I install it.

The CDR 220 started in 2000 if I remember correctly. It looks better, has ***** instead of rockers, gets better reception and sounds better.

Some like the rocker switches better than the *****, it's just a matter of taste.

I hope we haven't torpedoed the OP's thread.....

I opted for the CDR 220 for most of the reasons already mentioned. One important advantage of the CDR220 is that you can add the ipod / Aux interface which cannot be done with the CDR210.

Oh...is that just adding an RCA cable for the interface? I was actually thinking of getting an Alpine or Kenwood with sattalite built in but....if you can interface...
stock is always better for sure

Bill - I did not know that they have the cable with the ipod plug that charges the ipod. Thanks for sharing. Might go for this!

Hi there,
would love to buy this as my Blaupunkt which was original equipment with this 94 C2 is very old fashioned and not at all user friendly.
I'm in Cape Town South Africa. Happy to bid $ 260 on ebay. Just hope if I'm successful it wont be a problem mailing it to me. Chris Walrod sent me a set of his bushes which took a while to get here. I happy to pay direct before shipment if that would work. We don't have Paypal here yet!!!
Would hate to miss this one
Best holiday wishes.

Trevor.... Have you done your homework to ensure this is will work? I don't believe the plugs are the same and it may take some cutting and splicing to make it work.

Thanks Chuck, the radio fitter here seems to be able to make just about anything fit. Would never attempt it myself. I particularly like the Porsche logo on the face.
Early cars like mine only had the normal Blaupunkt fitted as standard.
I've not been able to find a Becker supplier here. My 996 C4 had a 210. Liked it.
Cheers. TT

Fittment is one thing but FM/AM frequencies are another. IIRC the No. American freqs. are different than Europe's. You may want to confirm.

You have PM too.
