Default Factory Xenons (Litronics) on 993's: What are the lumens and the k output???

Anyone know? We are trying to match some xenon driving lights to go into the TechArt air inlet piece.

I tried to use the search button and got nowhere...tried searching for Litronics, xenon specs, factory xenon specs...nothing.

Thanks!

Robert

I am not positively sure, but I think most manufacture provide 4300K as standard.

I personally think that porsche Litronic is comes with 4300K

I've heard that just about all cars (Lexus, Acura, MB, etc.) with xenon headlights came from the factory 35 watts.

Pretty sure the 35 watts is dead on, but I am tryinf to figure out the lumens and the light color. I think 4300k is correct but wasn't sure. Can anyone confirm this?

Would like to know as well, since I'm considering a small modification to my homemade foglights.

Sorry for the thread derail....

Andreas: How does one get the lens from the bottom to look clear and fresh like the the on on top? Can I use a polishing compound? I have a non-Pcar that I need to freshen up the plastic lenses and don't know what kind of polish to use. I have a Porter Cable Orbital and a bunch of different pads, but wondering what compound to use.

Mark,
Those lenses both came from the same car. The difference is that the fogs will develop a film on the inside of the glass lens and on the front & rear of the projector lens. Hence the dull, discolored look.

The non-descript plastic insides don't help either.

So now that we have that out of the way, any clue as to the answers to the original question? :-)

Hmm. Would that involve a step-by-step pdf by DDM Tuning??

When I looked into this, I was told by Daniel Stern of Daniel Stern Lighting Consultants that stock Xenon systems are 4300K, which is the whitest and brightest (measured in lumens) light spectrum.

Hmm. Yes.

Especially at $49 or whatever they want for that setup these days.
