Default Pic request - narrow body 993 with turbo front bumper

Hi guys,

Am thinking of updating my C2 with a turbo front bumper.

Whilst the widebodies have integrated side skirts, I was hoping to see if you guys can post some pics of narrow body 993 with turbo front bumper, either without side skirts, or with added side skirts, so I can compare the looks.

I am most probably going to go without any added side skirts, so I want to see how the more aggressive turbo bumper would flow on a narrow body without side skirts.

TIA.

Cheers,

Alan

Thanks 2ndof2.

Believe me, I have gone through all 60-odd pages. I only spotted one or two, so was hoping to get a few clearer pics.

Cheers,

Alan

I think it looks quite good on very dark cars. The stock black side skirts somewhat blend in with the body panels, and therefore visually extend them downwards. This way the front bumper lip does not appear to be so much lower than the rest of the car.
I am not sure about doing it on a light colored car.

Thanks Jeff - Sweet indeed...

Johan - point taken re lighter colours - hope to see some pics in silver (polar preferably)...

Side profile shots would be good too - want to see how low the front bumper hangs relative to normal side skirts...

Alan - See sig pic below of NB cab with TT bumper. FYI I had RS splitters on the white cab (I don't think you've ever seen the car) and clearance of the TT bumper is better than of the RS splitters IMHO although obviously not as good as the NB front bumper with factory splitters. Also, if you decide to add the TT-S lower extension there is a meaningful reduction in clearance vs the standard TT bumper.

Thanks jorl and rick.

Rick - your first two pics look awesome. Do you have a pic taken at similar angle to your third pic but with your MY02s and not the Cup IIs?

Thanks!!

Here is mine. Although the rest of my car (i.e. the tail) is RS-look, I much prefer to look of the turbo bumper to the splitters (no offense to anyone).
