I have noticed others with the MY02 rims in a gun metal gray, how are they achieving this look? Via powder-coating as well?

it can be but that is usually a paint.

I chose powder coating for a couple of reasons:
1. We do a lot of powder coating and ceramic coating with a local business who does great work
2. It is a bit more durable
3. I really liked this matte black

The rims look good. Just a thought, what about painting the hats black to match the rims. The grey & black at the hub might have a better look with all black. Just a thought.

Mark, I like the blue/black color scheme along with the black tips. Its perfect IMHO. Just curios, why didn't you post any mod pics of the turbo car?

I was coming in to post exactly this! The silver is distracting.

I really like it after a second look, but I'll trade ya for a silver set so you won't have to worry about painting the rotor hats!

Mark,

Nice job! I do like the black wheels (wonder why) as they make the car look mean! I think it all depends on what effect you want to achieve. The old mesh wheels you had give the car a more "elegent" look.

Not sure how it would work on this car, but does somebody have some black mirror bras you could throw on there?

I like the pipe you're smokin Bart. Guy/briefscape has a pair of those and he's had them on his Riv/black/black 95 cab. Kinda cool me thinks. Too bad I don't have a pic with them on.

^ I was just about to say that flat black centers with polished lips would look the best...

Obviously everyone has their opinion, though I just don't think that the MY02's suit the 993 - a staggered set definitely accentuates those beautiful hips...

I'm partial to black with a polished lip.
