I posted this on the 911 forum as well, but wanted to share it with my 993 brethren.

I spent the last few months searching for a G50 coupe to complement my 993, and just closed the deal on a Venetian Blue '87 Carrera. I'm in the process of getting the car back to the Bay Area and will post more pictures when I do, but here's a quick teaser in the meantime:

 

Nice. I had an '87 Diamond blue/Burgandy Cabriolet. Beautiful, well balanced car. I miss it.

 

I love the 3.2s! I'd like to DD the 993 and weekend/track a 3.2.

 

Very cool. But even cooler without the tail, IMHO.

 

Great car. I just sold my 87 venetian cab a few months ago....... I think it was a mistake.

 

Nice car, would love to have one also.

 

I just sold my 97TT and my 89 coupe. I already miss the 89.

 

+1 Congrats, looks like a nice one. I am always drawn to the nice 3.2s. "Classic" 911 Porsche in my mind.

So many of us had a 911! Here's mine... Venetian blue too, and I agree, I really like them sans rear wing, but to each his own. Here's the day I sold it. I may have looked happy but I wasn't! I was sick.
