Default Another happy Fabspeed customer with a 993 Performance Package

We just installed our Fabspeed Performance package which consists of the Maxflo mufflers with the larger oval tips, 200 Cell Sport Cats, Cup Airbox with BMC Air Filter and DME Chip Tune on a Black/Black 1995 993 C4. He was excited to improve the sound of the restrictive factory exhaust but he called me on his way home and said he was amazed in the power increase and sound that it made.

The Performance package is all bolt on and really makes for a nice upgrade on these earlier air cooled cars.
I have to tell you it sounds great and really makes a nice improvement without being aggressive. The customer loves the sound and power increase and thats what matters. PM or email me if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Looks very nice!

Quick question -- how does a '95 with only one O2 sensor get readings from both banks on a setup like this?

Thanks,

-reiner

Just ordered a set of these tips from Alex. Nice guy and he gave me a bit of a discount being a Rennlister. Love this place

Cheers,
Geoff

It doesn't. That's just the nature of the beast with cat bypass pipes or dual-path sport cats.

Curious too, can you quantify the power increase with dyno information?

Well, at least they didn't make bold claims of power increase. So that's progress.

Thanks for great feedback Guys. Here is the Dyno result of the Fabspeed Maxflo Muffler, Modular Sport Cats, Cup Airbox with BMC Air Filter versus Stock. The car made 15.49 Horsepower and 11.36 Ft. Lbs of Torque increase with the Package. It really makes a nice improvement that you can feel. Let me know if you have any questions.

Alex,

I'd appreciate if you could post dyno data on your s/s headers.

Could I pass CA emissions with this setup on an early 95?

I don't know about the hp claims as it seems awfully optimistic but the Youtube clip sure sounds good.

+1 on headders! would love a set expecially if they made power over stock. Doubt they do though. Maybe lighter? Tough sell for 2400 bucks...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the header/straight pipe/muffler kit is $2400. I wonder I wonder I wonder what the price is for headers only.

Also interested in the header diameter. And of course, dyno numbers .
