thanks guys for your input, there is a set going cheap here on ebay...think I will keep an eye out for 993 tt brakes and save my $$ in the mean time. You have probably saved me from castration if the missus catches me spending more money on the 993!

no reason really. thought newer design is better (of course not always true) - and goes for the same price. well, 996TT brake disc's might also be cheaper than 993 TT size, if I remember right.
