thanks guys for your input, there is a set going cheap here on ebay...think I will keep an eye out for 993 tt brakes and save my $$ in the mean time. You have probably saved me from castration if the missus catches me spending more money on the 993!

Well, that pretty much says it all. Guys are running stock class 3.2 Carreras with tiny stock brakes @ 2800+ lbs and setting lap records. I ran the '92 C4 (@ 3300+ lbs w/ driver) with no external brake cooling for nearly 3 years of severe track duty with nothing more than good fluid and proper pads. Raced RSA #1 for almost 3 years @ 3000 lbs w/ driver and never came close to having a brake issue.

no reason really. thought newer design is better (of course not always true) - and goes for the same price.
well, 996TT brake disc's might also be cheaper than 993 TT size, if I remember right.
