So... today's update. We sourced some 6" long x 4" diameter muffs and 3.5" stock for tips. These will be welded together and utilize the Fabspeed quick connects from the header ends. Should take a bit of the edge off the noise and smooth the flow. Will post pics asap, but it's gonna look - and sound - great .

Pat,

After throwing a bunch of ideas around, I'm going to go with 700f/900r... just trying to sort out spring lengths and helper vs. tender considerations.

Viggo,

LOL, I've been using foam earplugs, but I'm going this week to get fitted for some proper custom earplugs. This thing is loud.

The Fabspeed's aren't equal length. Maybe next year (if my accountant says ok) I'll grab a set of equal length headers from 9M.

Hey Joe.... EA is doing the muffler fabbing (God forbid I ever touch a welder), but the rest of the wrenching and setup is being done by yours truly. My hourly rate is getting measured in opportunity cost, probably more expensive than therapy .

Well Rob, you started it, now I can't help myself! Should be 50-70 lbs lighter net and a wee bit faster by the time the end of April rolls around. Just ordered some fresh Cup green rear/blue front slicks.... hoping to eat a few 6-cups this summer .

More pics coming after this weekend....

Toe control lockout plates from Tarett (thx Ira). Looking at the pic I guess I should take those Tinnerman clips off... it's not like I'm ever going to put that cover back on .

Kurt (and Billy - not pictured because he is allegedly too strikingly handsome for internet primetime) fabbing up the custom exhaust stubbies. More pics to come on these. Robin Sun's jacking block installed too....

To quote Andreas, holy hell.... I fired the car up today and it sounds delicious. Will post some pics and a sound clip of the completed exhaust asap .
