Rear CF deck is 6.5 lbs (stock 12.5) for a net loss of 6 lbs.

Front CF hood is 12.5 lbs... gotta weigh the stock hood later today

Thx Jeff. So I guess that will be about 30 lbs saved front & rear.

Fit the CF hood, drilled it for hood pins, going to paint this week. Bit of a mystery oil leak from the Gt2 cooler hence I pulled the bumper off - thankfully just needed a replacement washer and a little elbow grease on the fitting. The JICs are off, getting ready for Motons and Rennline goodies .

Perhaps a mufflerette?

Think of it as a thong is to underwear.

When You drill for hood pins, could you post some good pics of them installed. I need to do this next, front and rear and just want to see how you did it.

Thanks.

Thanks.

The front especially will save a lot (as you've noticed), I remember when I had c/f hood, it was amazing how light it was to lift up (I don't have the shocks) when compared to original.

Hood and deck painted, wing re-installed today, hood pins done too. Color match was damn near perfect, especially given the CF.... big thanks to the guys at EA (Engineered Automotive) .

Will post pics tomorrow night (Jeff - will take some specific pics of the hood pins).
