Default RS door panel question

I installed these RS door panels a while ago but not really that happy with the fitting.

At the bottom I have a gap between the door and the panel.

It can be corrected easely by just drill 2 extra holes and put screws in it.

The questions is can I just drill extra holes without having the risk of rust??

Thanks!

There are nylon/plastic inserts available so you could drill holes to suit these, then paint with a suitable inhibitor before fitting, and screw with black screws on 'cup' washers as per the original.
BTW - Your seats look fantastic! What are they? Recaro Pole Positions retrimmed?
Graham.

Hi Graham,

Thanks for the tip.

The seats are Sparco Evo seats in black nappa leather with silver contra stitching.

Just curious how much the door panels cost... I think I'm going to make some homebrew ones when the time comes for me. Thanks,

Not sure which ones delanobe got, but appbiz has them for ~300 to 350 depending on if you want vinyl or leather.

Stupid question, but do the panels come pre-drilled for speakers, etc. based on specifications you provide when you order them, or do you have to have the panel drilled for your specific configuration after you receive them?

AppBiz has all the holes already in the backing panels, you do have to make holes in the finish surface for the items you will use

Bill is correct.

I ordered the leather variant at Apbizz and they are very nice.

I am guessing that the "RSA Door Panels 74-94" on AppBiz is what you need for a 993? Thanks,

Guys
With the Appbiz ones - did you have problems with the bezels falling off ? Anyone use the Billet RS bezel kit from Appbix as well ?
I want to change to RS door panels - but keep the electric windows - is the power window bezel hard to put in ?

Anyone had experience with the BetterBodies RS door panel ?
It's only $189 compared to the Appbiz $275.
Which is the one to get ?

Thanks in advance ...
