OP Steve, and the factory options on this 993 are? (With the OPs No-reply reply as to factory options - go figure? could there be none?) I suppose the C4 option is a great start; better brakes, etc. ( EDIT: incorrect. the MY993 C4 coupe had standard 993 brakes finished in silver paint.)

Where are you/car located? East, west, north, south? (No reply)

 

I thought the C4 had the same brakes as the C2/C2S, the calipers are just painted silver. C4S brakes are from the turbo IIRC.

C4 brakes are hydraulic, C2 brake are vacuum.
