Black 17" cup on Guards Red of Turbo Twist 18"?
Anyone seen a snap of a GR 993 with Black Cup wheels. I am putting an Aero 1 on my car and trying to decide whether to powder coat the wheels semi gloss black with a silver lip, or go to a 18" urbo twist or speedline wheel. I plan to lower the car 25mm with a spring kit on stock schocks that were new in 2007.
DE and Autocross only.
Did a search and I can't open the old photos on my computer from past threads. Assembling all the parts before putting the car together. Opinions please?

I have that set up on my car. I posted some picks earier this year. Search for black powder coated wheels and you should find them. If you can not locate them I will try to post some later today when I have more time. By the way, I went with 20% gloss powder coat. Very racy looking. No polished lip though. IMHO I dont like the look of the polished lip on the cup wheels.

Thank you very much...this snap was a huge help as I have the Aero 1b (with a split front spoiler though) and side rockers coming. Gives the car a sinister look. Your Kinesis are 17" are they?
With it I have decided to lower the suspension 25mm, paint the wheels black leaving the silver lip. I will likely buy the turbo twists for street use from my Brother in law...which I threw into the deal when I sold him my 996 last summer anyway...
Thanks again.

Did you lower your car or is that stock height - looks nice - can't tell from the angle it is taken at....
Thanks heavens for this forum. Through help with all the guys, I can sew together what look I'm after BEFORE spending the money....

Here are some photos of the process of painting the centers gloss black.
I did this myself at very little cost, but I did use quality auto enamel paint and wet/dry sand papers.
My car has PSS9's and is lowered. See my Avatar for the height and new Kinesis wheels.
