I bought my freestanding water driven unit at Home Depot about 3 years ago and it still works fine. I do bring it inside the garage during the winter months so the cold weather doesn't stress the parts.

You're lucky yours didn't break after 3 mos like ours did. Oh well... I leave mine out year round though and always have.
