Default Car Cover

What's the best place to purchase a car cover for the 993? Do I have multiple options besides places like Performance Products?

TIA,

Andy

I like the ones Carnewal has. Very cool, form fitting, many color choices, and they have the Porsche crest. They are $$$$. I am getting one from Santa this year!

Indoor Porsche covers are priced best at Sunset.
They are tailored to the indiviual version of 993... fit like a glove.
The color is determined by the 993 type (turbo, NB, S, RS, etc)

I got the same satin stretch cover from performance products but it doesn't have the porsche logo.

Cover was shipped to me and cost $200.

It is exactly the same as the others and comes in multiple colors.

I have one from Griot's Garage that came with the car. Seems like a well constructed cover with a very soft surface that touches the paint. Since it was free I like it even more. Here is the link to it. Like I said very soft material that touches the paint (Flanel me thinks)

I have a nice waffle pattern Block-It / NOAH "outdoor" cover. When it gets dirty, I believe it can cause more swirls than the soft or stretchy kind. The trade-off is that I get a little bit of bump protection. With a 1 and 3 year old and several tricycle things about, I'm happy with the trade-off for now.

I was thinking of ordering one of the custom fit covers from Pelican. Anybody else have one of those?

I have one from Pelican. It is the outdoor one, it fits nicely and does not damage the paint or the wax. It also came with the security cable and lock. Overall I like it, and would recommend it.

Still looking? I may sell mine since I never use it and now it doesn't fit with the wing.

I bought an indoor cover manufactured by Covercraft:http://www.covercraft.com/

I bought it from these guys:
http://www.supercarcovers.com/cgi-bin/covercraft/start

They have a full line of indoor and outdoor covers at different price levels.
I've had indoor and outdoor Covercraft covers and have been very satisfied with their products.
