Default Ok. 95% there...

The front bumper is getting repainted next week. Painter is out till Tues, and we have no idea why it turned out so off, while the decklid and wing matched perfectly.

So here's the list. This is a bit embarrassing, but here goes...

Bilstein PSS10s
TRG Swaybars
Tarret front droplinks
RS rear droplinks
Walrod control arm bushings
WEVO motor mounts / black pillows
Rennline engine carrier gusset
TT/RS Calipers/rotors/pads
Goodridge stainless lines
Sumitomo III
RS Wheels
RS side skirts
RS Wing
MaShaw splitters
Fister Stage II
Fister Golden Rod
Rothsport short shift
oem euro front/rear turn signals
3M Stone guards
Painted rear bumperettes
Removal of front bumperettes
HID light conversion
911 chips front strut bar
Rennline adjustable gas pedal
Parrot head unit
premier parts cup holder
RS front parcel tray
Partial black interior in the garage until further notice.
96' 993 with 37k - Granite Green Metallic (rock green)

I may have forgotten something. Here are a few crappy pics. Sorry about the front bumper. One more week and its done.

Man, that bumper is way off. I actually saw it get painted with the rear decklid. Decklid was painted because the rear badge left a big yellow splotch in the shape of Carrera. Very weird.

WOW!!!!! An RLer's wet dream of mods! Don't be embarassed, you're among friends. We understand. Thanks for posting these, finished or not, it looks awesome.

If you're still on the fence about the side-repeaters, here's one vote for leaving it the way it is.

i think the best mod was proper setup by guys who race 993s. Its fantastic. and absolutely no degradation in ride with the sway bars.
I'm going to drive the crap out of this thing. Occasional track events and proper spirited drives.
In a good way...of course. No abuse, just appropriate use of the car. Its a daily driver...so child seat gets mounted next week.

Can't wait to get out of this ****ty town.
Three more weeks till SoCal...

You got to be kidding. Its never finished.

Next on the list.

Uprights/tie rods
Interior stuff...

And after 30 or 40 thousand miles, I'll do a motor.

Oh, and I think its badge delete. I can't get used to the "911" or "993". I may try them for kicks. Perhaps painted to match or something.

If that's the car I think it was the seller advertised it as a bone stock/unmolested car and was proud of it. Have you sent him this list of what you've done to "his" car after only a month? I wonder what his reaction would be?

On a side note, I think someone hit the lottery!

The seller is too nice a guy. I don't want to upset him..

I've been planning this for some time. Previously, I built the perfect E30 M3. Similar project to this. I drove the hell out of that wonderful car for 2 years until it was stolen in front of my house in Atlanta. Never thought I would recover.

This is my revenge..

And keep something in mind. This car as it sits is considerably cheaper than the 993 turbos I considered. I also seriously considered a new GT3. When optioned properly, would cost 2 times as much as this project.

The GT3 is just too nutty for me. For a daily driver...just too fast. This car solves the same problem, without the unbridled mph excess on tap.

Dang ... was hoping you'd be the first, & then post a DIY, so we can all finish our 993s

Those badges in your color would rock. Here's contrasting silver on silver...
