The Making of My Blue Monster ** Update Oct 26 2010

I love statements like this..... so in other words..... as unbelievably amazing as it looks now.... the pictures actually pale in comparison to the real thing !
I think you are right.... but ... maybe seeing it in person is not enough !.... Driving it would be necessary... so, send the keys my way so I can "experience" it !

Todd is generally regarded as one of the top aftermarket Porsche turbo tuners in the U.S. (perhaps only second to Andial); unfortunately he left California and moved to Arkansas a few years back.

Lookin' great Gappy! BTW: who made the tips on your exhaust? I went down to the carriage house and spent some time fantasizing that the BBS box held your wheels instead of your mufflers

That is incredible, slope nothing, you went down the whole moutain.
Looking at the exhaust pictures it looks like no mufflers with reversed flow through the cat? Is the cat stock or was it gutted? Video post with audio is a must, gotta sound crazy good!!!
Sorry for the questions I just get a little excited about upgrades.

The reverse flow cats is special, why did you chose that with the restrictive old cats?
I see that you have the standard intake manifold, did you do any changes to: *throttle body
*vacuum hoses
*MAF sensor
*injectors
*fuel pressure regulator
*etc?
*What chip do you have in the ECU?
What compression ratio do you have, and what boost pressure?
I have been playing with the idea of making a supercharger kit, using the state of the art Rotrex compressor. The compressor kit itself is a little over $2,000, but I will need 993 Turbo injectors, new fuel pressure regulator, new chip and an intercooler, etc, etc. A boost pressure of 0.5 bar (7 psi) should give around 50% power and torque increase with standar compression ratio (octane boost might bee needed in the gas...). As a DIY job, the whole thing will cost around $5-6,000. Any thyoughts or comments?

Fuel Press regulator was changed
Stock ECU with Promotive Proprietary Software Programming
Boost is 0.45 bar (maxed out to avoid engine blow up)
As for a Turbo DIY... I am really not technically too savvy to comment, but I like to have the expertise and warranty stand behind my engine mod IMHO.
