I had PSS9's in it. They are now in my TT...

According to Excellence, 30K will buy him a pristine low mileage C2S!

The price isn't too bad and if he is asking $29,900 I am sure he will come down a bit. Just how bad is the paint? Proper paint work is not cheap as I'm sure you are aware. The PPI was key so far but you don't need to sink thousands into cosmetics right off the bat if it is seriously needed. You might just as well pay $33k or $34k and get a car that needs nothing and save the aggravation of matching colors or shoddy work. Not the way to start the ownership life of a 993. If this isn't the car then good luck with the continued search.

Can someone please give me the names of the "reputable" Porsche re-sale dealers.

On my list I already have:

Willhoit
Sloan Cars
TruSpeed

There must be more.

Thanks!

Paid 29k 2.5 yrs. ago for a very nice 95 cab with many TT upgrades.
Mileage was low 90's. the engine is bullet proof and pulls very, very hard with chip & exhust mods . No noises or oil leaks.
I love it.

I would imagine that this car is gonna need new shocks pretty soon, as the factory Monroe shocks weren't known for longevity. This would present a good opportunity to install PSS9/10s and get it lowered...IMHO...an essential thing on these cars

Just a personal note here...it's completely rediculous that you can get a really nice 993 for $30K...and I do agree with others, that you can do it. But, who would have imagined such a great car for that kind of money. I wish I had about 5 more spots in my garage...I'd find a way to get some more...cause I just love these cars

Not all '95s had Monroes when new. Mine has Boges.

well considering these cars ran between $60 and $65k for a basic C2 NB, a 50% depreciation hit in 15 years is not bad at all.

Monroe's are orange. Boge's are usually dark green. Boge's were also part of the M030 sport suspension offered.

So if a 993 has green Boges shocks and the car is as high as a SUV would one be able to lower the car with the M030 springs?

Thanks.
