Yes. The side skirts are getting "glued" on...Let me clarify.
There are many many pieces of hardware that hold these things on. Including bolts that required drilling 3 holes into the rear fender. My shop is using some pretty serious stuff to replace these three bolts. It wasn't my idea, but rather suggested by them after inspection of the parts. I have to say, the quality of the RS side skirts is pretty poor. Nothing close to the standard skirts that came off. Very thin material, poor finish, and very weak mounting tabs (a few broke off in shipping).
Anyhow. I saw it this morning. Rear wing is on. Just needs the grill urethaned in. Skirts are on, albeit, still taped up.
Rear bumperettes were painted and mounted. Euro lights are on (still debating side markers).
The front bumper could be a problem. I actually saw the rear wing, splitters, front bumper, and rear decklid in the paint booth, getting sprayed at the same time.
The front bumper just looks wrong. The paint appears a totally different color under the weird lights on the mechanical side of the shop. The bodyshop uses different lighting. Perhaps I have to wait until it goes outside, but it looks way off. The other parts, (decklid and tail) look spot-on. Very weird.
They're replacing a cracked ignition wire (an easy one), plugging in a new battery, and finalizing bodywork this morning. If all goes well, I should be driving it this afternoon.
Still waiting on a 964 sunroof switch, new rear badging, and the install of my Parrot head unit.

I went with the MAshaw urethane splitters...Because I know i will be nailing them on a parking block or curb, etc. My wife kind of sucks about this. Instead of replacing $1000 splitters, I can replace a $300 set. And I guarantee it will happen.
After seeing the fit and finish in person, I don't fell bad at all. Lines are perfect, no waves, nothing. Looks great. Urethane is a bitch to paint, but my guys did it properly, cooking them before paint to get the oils out, etc.

In a 50mph crash, you'll notice windshields don't pop out. Its because of this stuff.
They are not coming off without a razor blade.
Besides, the piece that mounts the three screws that require drilling just plain sucks. Its weak and would probably break off is someone so much as put their foot on that area of the side skirt. The urethane helps avoid this potential nightmare.
I have to guess that Porsche loosened its grip on the outsource that makes these things. The guys at sunset said they've seen a bunch of bad ones come through. Poor finish, weak tabs, etc. thats why they inspect every one before sending it off to the customer. Mine were a "good" batch.

the color has a few names.
Granite Green Metallic, Rock Green, and Felsengrun (rock green).
It was a 928 color. Some special ordered it on other cars. The paint code is paint to sample, but thats not really true, since the sample is a Porsche color.
Whats funny is that the guy I bought it from thought it was Slate Grey for the last 12 years. I drove 7 hours to pick up a Slate Grey car, and didn't figure it out until I was in my driveway, going over the folder of receipts he gave me. The front bumper had been painted, and the color was written in pen on the body shop receipt.
