Default Los Angeles Car Stereo Installer...?

...whose not going to butcher my car. I've heard so many horror stories. Just a simple head-unit change ( I got one of the European Beckers. No AM reception though) and some speakers.

Thoughts?

My thought is you should do it yourself...seriously it is simple.

Look up Mark Wilson's CDR-220 thread...

Thanks for the recommendation. Sadly (or not) I don't need to go to Sacramento, but Culver City is pretty close by! :-)

Rod posted 1-2 weeks ago that he was considering coming down to SoCal to do in install tour if there was sufficient interest.

I missed that post. I was going to call him up and ask if he might be heading down here. I'm kinda thinking about doing a Rod install.

Jamey Rawlings: porschetunes@aol.com

used to own Paris Audio, highly recommend him. his number is 626-372-0744,
Jamey has a shop in Beverly Hills and also Monrovia, suggest you call and talk to him, if you want a top notch job, Jamey is the MAN.

HAAS is also very good, they do all the installations for Beverly Hill Porsche.

Jeff at Haas is phenominal...a bit pricey, but flawless work.

So is Jamey, but do you want a High Schooler at Best Buy cutting holes in your car? Good quality work costs $.

I unfortunately have no relation to Jeff nor the Levis fortune, subsequent Berkeley B-school or the avocados.

What I like about Rod is that he knows 993s inside and out and has his custom installs set up for these cars specifically (using the rear seat section for the enclosures, etc..)

But I'm sure Haas is equally capable. I should check them out. Thanks!

+1 more for Rod, I flew him to Spokane to do an installation on my `87 Cab. He's a true perfectionist that takes great pride in his work. He knows and loves the marquee, you should at the very least give him a call.
