Default 7.5 x 18 Turbo Twist Wheels - what car??????

I keep running across 7.5 x 18 wheels that are advertised to be from a 993, yet I can only find reference to 8 inch front wheels in any Porsche literature that I read about the 993. What did the 7.5 inch wheels come on originally???

I have the 7.5 X 18 hollow spoke TT's and I cannot tell the difference coming from an 8 X 18 sport classic II wheel. I am running the exact same tires and do not notice any handling differences. I do notice the weight difference with the hollow spoke however. I'm not sure which model ran the 7.5 X 18 wheel either.

I just found this TSB that shows them as approved winter wheels for a 993.

I believe that the 7.5" versions of the Twists came on early 996s (3.4L cars) and Boxsters.

I have them as well and they came on the 996's and Boxsters but carry a 993 part #.
