When I had a new windshield installed to rid the chip/crack, the old squeaking noise went away afterwards. The installer from Safelite (Santa Ana, CA) who claims to have many Porsche install experience told me the noise is usually due to small air leaks in the window frame, which usually go away with new gluing. Sounded like news to me, but I don't know enough otherwise to argue. Nevertheless, it's been 6 months and the squeak has not returned. I guess you may consider getting the old windshield pulled and re-installed by someone good as to not crack the glass as a last resort.
