I love the basket handle and I think it looks better without the turbo wing.
Now, someone talk me out of going with OEM RS front splitters and OEM RS rear wing (or damned perfect repro from aftermarket of both) because ever since I got the wheels I'm thinking about body parts :

i'm pretty much in agreement with everybody else...i like it better without the big wing. baskethandle is ok for me on a cab-i just don't like them on coupes-i don't know why.

I like the tt tail with the top down, it balances out the 'wings' the folded top leaves. That's why I didn't look for a cab. The 996 has a much better cab design as far as the top, but the shared design from A pillar forward made it look too much like a boxster. Now, if they made the hidden top on the 993 styling, that would be a home run!

Mike, the car looks so "right" without the tail. Too much bulk with it. Keep the grille black and honestly, with or without basket handle is fine. The car looks awesome.
Now if you wanted to go further you could add the Speedster hump you have along with some WB fenders and sills, Speedster windshield and associated parts.............

Car looks great without it (I never liked it on there). I hate the basket handle on coupes, but I think it "works" on a cab. The only tail I like on any 993 is the RS. How's that for an opinionated post?

Further thoughts on the basket handle. I didn't hate it, and it at least once got me asked if my car was a 95 (from a random guy in a parking lot at a McDonalds in a small town -odd), but my car has striven to have clean lines, so off it went. Read wiper will get axes at some point, I guess.
