Well after all the comments I am very happy that I pulled the tail off. I have another decklid here and plenty of paint left over so I may do one w/o the basket handle and paint the grill. I don't mind the basket handle, but the lines prolly would be better without. Stay tuned. Hmmmmm.

Mike:

Though I liked the turbo tail, it looks much better with the stock decklid on the car. It looks amazing! As others have mentioned, I'd be curious to know what it would look like without the basket handle.

Much nicer with the wing off.

I think the car lost it's "smurfy" look with TT tail removed.

The car looked exaggerated in a comic book kind of way. (sorry)

WOW! Why don't we tell Mike how we REALLY felt about that wing.

Hey I asked for opinions and comments and keep em coming. The comments you guys made are just reaffirming what Cactus said. Just because I put the tail on doesn't mean it was the right thing to do. You guys are not hurting my feelings at all. I wish I would have posted what I should have done with the regular decklid. Like I said before I don't mind the basket handle or black grill.

I love it without the wing. Basket handle looks fine to me.

Now if you wanted to go further you could add the Speedster hump you have along with some WB fenders and sills, Speedster windshield and associated parts.............
I like your style Moffat!

+1. Turbo wing on a cab looks over the top. Can get away with it on a coupe as there are Turbo and C2S/C4S (aero kit) models that could have that option from the factory.

Nice looking cab BTW!

Cooking dinner over here and my wife (who lurks here... I think she is stalking me ) says she like your booty sans tail. "Way better" was the exact quote.

No comments on my rear... should I be worried?

Maybe mike should have started a poll, would be easier to tally the results. 5 pgs. dedicated to Mike's a$$, or lack thereof....
