I purchased a parts car which is a 1978 911SC that is wrecked in the front and the car has a aftermarket alarm.
I got the keys from it but no remote, I try to start it and it turns over but wont fire. Im pretty sure the alarm has a fuel pump kill on it so it wont fire because of that. I know this because the siren trips out everytime the ignition is turned.
So I was woundering if anyone knows how I can disable this alarm so I can get it to fire?

Try to locate the alarm box and pull the fuse supplying it its 12V supply for operation. Or Unplug the wiring harness from the alarm box. One bad design flaw of many alarm systems is that they have a wire harness that plugs in to the alarm box, but no loop through so the car will not operate while the box is unplugged. With most you unplug or loose power supply and your alarm system has been successfully electronically un-installed. They only work because they are plugged in.

Certain brands have a wireless fuel pump shut off. So verify if your fuel pump is coming on and look at the other basics. If you need more help call my guru at auto accessories 425-353-8845. His name is Robert and know his alarms. GL.

You're going to have to find the alarm control box and determine what brand and model to get any quick results. Try the obvious locations like under dash, behind glove compartment. Most will tap into the ignition switch wiring, so if you find those wires, trace them back to the control box location. Some are quite "devious" with gel-cell back-up, so disconnecting power may not initially help. Good Luck!
