Interior Light: Bulb Replacement - How?
Hi everyone!
I've done a search and came up empty.
Has anyone actually removed the interior light (passenger side, if that makes a difference) from a 1995 C2?
Does the whole assembly with black trim housing get removed or just the clear lens?
And if so, how is it done without damaging anything?
Thanks!!!

I had to do that. It's in the owner's manual...let me check. I think the clear +black trim needs to be pulled off...I recall a LOT of force required, so much so I was scared to do it at first. Start gently, then increase force until it comes off...before you do this, let me run get my manual to confirm. Back in a sec.

Here we go. Page 141 of the manual:
Interior Lights, LUggage Compartment Light
1. Carefully apply small screwdriver and push light unit out of lining. (Picture shows screwdriver being applied to short end of light fixture closest to the rear of the car.)
2. Take out defective bulb from between spring contacts and replace.
3. Insert light unit into cutout first from one side and then from the other side and press in. Check operation of light.
Good luck!

Thanks for taking the time, Ed.
I think that is what my manual also stated when I last looked at it a few days ago, but it was unclear which parts gets removed or pried out.
Still, you need a pry bar to get it out.
I just don't want to tear the headliner.

Hi Alex, nice car. Is is a recent acquisition in Toronto area?
Saw your thread in the DE forum about the P-school.
If I were you, I'd do a local DE in your own car, without hesitation. You'll be surprised how safe they are (getting started). You will also be surprised how much you enjoy them and want to continue. Once you get started, PCA DE's are no more risky or abusive than you want them to be...
Best,
Matt
