Just put 4 brand new Sumi III's on. Like em so far, but I only have about 400 miles on them. Only way to beat the Sumi III's price is to go with Sumi II's. All 4 Sumi III's $350 to your door. Even if I only get 10K on the rears I'll consider it as a good value. @ $99 each

Warpig,
I have read a couple of posts claiming a set of Sumi's for $350, but by the time I get to checkout its closer to $450... Are you getting a deal through Damon?
Thanks,
Peter

Wow. Its hard to argue with the Sumitomo reviews. Regardless of cost. Hell, I could buy 2 or 3 sets for the price of its competitors. It almost makes tire noise and treadwear ratings a non issue. Just replace them as soon as they get loud..
Anyone (Bill) know the factory RS tire sizes?

i would recommend NItto INVOs for street use. they are the quietest and most comfortable tires i've used to date. and i have tried quite a number of the top brands: Advan Sport and Neovas, Pirelli PZero and Corsa, Bridgestone RE050, and some others. for purely street use, this would be my tire of choice. i don't know though if they come in the sizes that you need

I put the Kumko Ecsta XS a few months ago and I am impressed. The grip is great and I even tried them at ao AutoX. I did the first 5 runs on V710 and with the Kumho XS I averaged a 6/10th slower time on a 50 sec course. Can't beat that kind of performance for the price

Are you guys all running 205's in the front and 245's or 255's in the rear? That is where some of the price difference is coming from. I am looking to run 225/45's in front and 274/40's in the rear.
It's too bad the cup rims dont come in 8" wide, because 235's up front would be better.
Shipping to San Diego was about $60.
Thanks!

If you are looking at Tire Rack the Rears are $99 Each and the fronts are $70 each. $338. I don't know what your shipping costs are looking like maybe thats the difference since you are in Cali and I am in the Chicagoland area. I have a Tire Rack Shipping Warehouse pretty close to me in Indiana. I have been ordering tires from Tire Rack for years and when they ship em to me UPS ground I ALWAYS get them next day. Never fails. Just Checked, with shipping they were $377 so I was off on my original post by $27
Still great pricing... Nick
