Default Barrett-Jackson 993 Turbo S - $99k

This Turbo S sold last night at barrett-jackson. The auction ended at $99k but they show $104k. It does have 30k miles so it looks like the price has been set for these cars. Probably the right price for a high milage Turbo S.

High milage? It's hardly run in.

I like the color. Is that blue oil smoke in the picture or is my screen screwed up? $99k is a little disappointing but it's hard to argue against the market. I'd still take it over a new turbo all things equal.

Looks like it's smoking a bit to me too!

Cool car though.

The 104K might be the total with fee's attatched. Probably not the right venue for the Turbo S, might have brought a bit more in the spring or at another locaction.

We're all entitled to our opinions because we all have one. Cobalt Blue is one of my favorite colors.

I think the under 10k mile = low, and over 20k = high, unwritten rule that is applied to Ferrari's can be applied to these cars too. We all know these cars can fetch huge #'s, but I would think $100k would be around the ceiling with 30k miles.
No where near as rare, but a 997 Turbo with 30k is going to get no where near that. And I doubt anyone "in the Know" would pay more that $110-115k for an F430 with over 30k miles.

Hey Dan and Brian,

Wonder if that is the car that sold at RUF a couple of times. One of my absolute favorites.

My thoughts exactly, we're talking about Porsches not Ferraris...

I'm wondering if it's a real 'S' at that price or just made to look like one.

Turbo S's are very rare and that price seems too good to be true.
