Default ebay listings: 993 C2S vs E500

1994 MB E500:

Rare & "perfect". I've been searching for a mint 500E/E500for the last year and half, and it is probably the best low-mi example in US. It is not the most expensive one in the market now though!

1997 Porsche 911 993 C2S:

This particular one has been around for a while. Never sold. Does anyone know more about this car or the dealer? What do think think is the going price for this one.

Wish if I could have both E500 and 993. I am changing my directions and am definitely hunting for a mint garage queen 993 after all. Any comments or feedback on this C2S will be appreciated. Thanks.

What do you plan on doing with the cars? Completely different applications. Luxury or performance?

Not really comparing these two since they are two completely different cars. Happens to have almost identical listing prices.

Looking for a garage queen, and I have already changed my mind to look for a performance toy. I just can't take my mind off porsche built 500e's.

Any comments of this arena red? Worth a flight to inspect? Thanks.

Don't quite get your post.

If you're only interested in purchasing and feedback on a C2S, why are you blathering about a 500E on a Porsche bulletin board?

Okay, I wanted to get some feedback on the C2S, and yes I have a confusing title for my posting.

I just thought that Rennlisters may be interested in seeing a pristine MB-Porsche built sedan from 92-94. I found this particular listing in ebay to be very rare and interestingly had almost identical listing price as the C2S that I was interested. Hope this answers your question.

Wanted to know if anyone knew about this C2S and your feedbacks are appreciated. Was it already sold? Did not know.

i had my uncle look at that C2S and he said it was a pretty good car after he drove it. there was just the scratch on the rear bumper which the dealer rightfully declared beforehand. of course i would still get a PPI. i'm actually interested in the car but the dealer would not budge on the price so i'm holding off for a while.

but that e500 looks excellent. both are great cars.

Thanks azmurciev12 for the info. I agree that their price may be a tad high... (from buyers' perspective) Good luck on your search as well. AR's are just beautiful. Thanks.

i actually think the price is retail. but in this kind of market, you're always hoping to get a good deal and not just pay retail... well that's just me. good luck as well.

the E500 is nice .. I just don't like the lower body "cladding" or whatever you call that two-tone look.
