Welcome to the curse of the 95 and stalls. I have battled the stalls with the LWF for years and had things tweeked, cleaned, and tuned--absolutely nothing has helped. Get used to it or go back to the dual mass. Mine doesnt happen that often but it still makes me shake my head when it does once in a great while.

70% of those with LWF on the 95 stall on a poll that was taken by me. I would tend to believe that number is higher.

Pinto's explode when rear ended, Explorers roll with certain tires, the 95 Porsche 993 has a tendency to stall with the LWF. Thats just the way it is.

I just got my 95 a week ago and also experienced two stalling (one at a stop, one on the highway after a strong slowdown). This didn't happen anymore since I now brake longer before engaging in the clutch pedal.

My idle RPM is around 650-700, which I found very low at the first place.

According to the previous owner, I don't have a LWF. Does it happen sometimes yo you guys ?

My 96 did that too. I loosened the allen screws on the bottom of the Idle Control Valve, and rotated it slightly to adjust the idle and now it's fine. If it hasn't been touched yet, the screws are sealed with a drop of epoxy and you can just scrape that off. Like most other jobs, it's easy once you know what to do. I took it apart and cleaned it, but that didn't help, just the adjustment helped. I think p.car has info on cleaning it.

As a control, I have a 95 with standard flywheel, and mine never stalls.
