anyone running 315 -30 X 18s on the rear?
many interesting R comp and other tires jump from 275 - 315 sizing.
I convinced myself 275 is not the way to go for my setup.
I usually run 235 - 40 X 18 and 285 / 295 -30 X 18 when i AX.
i'm dumping my 275-35X18 NT01s and my only choices are to buy NT01 315s to match my existing NT01 235 - 40s
or
start over with a different tire manufacturer.
So i'll ask again
Are you running 315 - 30 X 18s on your WB 993?
I'm using 996 TT wheels, (ET45) with very close to RS ride height.
would like to hear from someone already using this setup
WITHOUT RUBBING
before i spend the $$$$$$$
ps, no my fenders are not rolled and i will not roll them.
thanks

If you are limited to 18x11" wheels I would suggest staying with a 295/30-18. A 315mm tire DOT radial really needs an 11.5" or 12" wheel to work correctly. Just ask Porsche (see 996 GT2 12"/315 or 997 GT3 12"/305).

thanks mongrelcat, helpful indeed! You are a font of information!
Easy! I run 18x12" wheels with 315/30-18. No fender rolling and no rubbing but you will need to run at least -2deg of camber.

I have -2.1 rear camber.

Craig, yes I am... but with different wheels. Plenty of room.
Kinesis wheels and I don't know the offset
I also have 996tt wheels but don't have the 315/30s on them. They have 295s on them
Hope that helps!
rear camber is -1.8

I'm using Nitto NT-01 on 996 Turbo Wheels. 245 front and 315 rear. No rubbing. -1.9 camber f and rear.
Really? Sure looks like both my front and rear rims are too skinny.
I have 3 days on track with these tires and so far they are about 2 seconds slower than MPSC on a 2 minute track. But they are way more fun.
