With any battery, use a ctek charger/maintainer.
I agree with the others, the gel batteries aren't all that but I like it for the sealed build.
I have an Optima 75/35, pics have been posted previousy of my setup. No real changes to the cables, bolted right in with the stock tie down too.

I checked and my Optima 75/35 is 6 years old. I had no problem but I think I should replace it just in case. The 75/35 is dicontinued so I searched the forum and it seems I should get either the 34R or the 35 but I am not sure which one is a better fit. Any help will be appreciated.
