Cost of collector car insurance for your 993?

I just moved to Grundy. 96 993 C4 70k miles. Stated value of 45k. Part of their MVP program that also insures my regular daily cars. Overall the coverage was superior to AAA for all cars and far cheaper for the Porsche. My policy states infrequent usage for work. Infrequent is not defined, apparently.
Additionally, I added a wavier called diminution of value. This pays me the difference between a repaired vehicle and an original vehicle in the event of an accident and reduced value of a repaired vehicle. In total, I have complete peace of mind with this new policy.

I can't say anything good about Hagerty. My policy was $600/yr for two years, no claims or driving infractions. Suddenly my renewal shows up and its more than doubled to $1400/yr. When my broker called to ask why, their response was "they aren't interested in insuring young drivers with newer vehicles anymore".
I'm 30, and my cars nearly 20 years old, and nothing changed my risk since the last renewal. In my opinion they're scum. I managed to get a regular policy with no usage restrictions, for agreed value, and it ended up cheaper once I knock it back to fire/theft only for the winter months.

What company did you go with instead? I'm currently with Hagerty for $800/yr (which drops to nearly nothing over the winter months for comp only) on an agreed value of $50k ('96 C4S). I figured $400/season seemed reasonable?

I currently have:
American Modern Home Ins co 1 866 884-6167
P.O. Box 5323
Cincinnatti, Ohio 45201
This is a company that some other ins. company brokered to....I called them direct and got better price. Having said that, I just called Grundy and without getting much detail (their computers were down), they have an even better rate.
Have not looked at policy word for word differences, there is driving restrictions on mine - only drive to work once a week, etc., and I had to convince them to my "agreed value".
My car is worth 10k more than I have it insured for, (I will not drive it more than 3k miles a year) so I am thinking about upping the value sometime soon.
Regardless of what the policy supposedly covers, I am nervous should I ever have a serious accident and have to "total" the car - I would want all the "agreed value" without any drama.
I have not had to make any claims, so I am also curious who would "pay up" in the case of a claim.
Haggerty seems way more money than anyone else in the game.

Grundy's rates are quite competitive. I pay less than $500/year, and they were less restrictive than many collector type polices. Not so sure about the "agreed" value aspect, however. They refused to insure my 1997 C2S for more than $53,000, and didn't seem to have any grasp of the real current value of these gems.
I am also curious to hear what others may have experienced with Grundy during the claims process, and if they step up to the plate for the agreed value.
