I always thought that his 911 was black. (That's what I've been telling myself as I scoot around in my 993: a black air cooled 911, just like McQueen.) But I've also read that it was "grey". But it didn't read as green as these cars.

There were two 911's, the "radio" car (had an upgraded stereo system in it) and the "French" car. From the pictures in the February '08 issue of Octane, the latter appears to be Granite Green.
