Sounds like you really like your 993 NA. A 993TT could be the answer, however, some of us prefer the steering/clutch/shifter feel of the NA car. If you're in that boat, do what I did and buy a g50/31
I've driven 993 NAs with "correct" gearing - there's a big difference.
Cheers,
Joe

The G50/31 gearbox enhancement makes a world of difference.

I sold my 1958 Porsche 356A and moved down to a 993, humm, I love my 993 but I am still "in love" with the one that got a way.. the '58 CAB...
I can still use my stock phrase: "Air-cooled Regards"

What's funny is that it's not really a matter of 996tt vs 993. The stats are " no comparison". The big difference is that:
when I drive the 996tt...I feel special
When I drive the 993....the car feels special
If you guys understand what I am getting at without being rude.

In the 996tt the question was - wow how much are those? in the 993, wow that car looks great what year is it?
You wouldnt be the first or the last to go from 996tt to a 993.. no regrets for me.

I had a 996 C4S cab for about a month and just sold it. Didn't like it not a bit. The lines, the console, the sound (sorry 996 guys)... Instead my 993 C2 cab will stay with me forever. Of course I love the extra hp but there's only room for one pcar in my garage (and wifey will sure erupt like a vocano if she sees another one again) and that spot is for my 993. Being said that, I'll keep the 993 or sell both and get a 993 turbo if hp is what you're longing for.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Ok, I agree about the 993 vs 996 debate, but who would consider "upgrading" to a 997 GT3?
I also can only justify one Porsche in the garage, but parting with my 993 sometime soon will be pure sacrileage, but would I do it for a 997 GT3??? I don't know.....

Exactly. The 993TT is a big step up cost wise which is why I suspect people just move to a 996TT or 997. Interestingly enough they might have been happier with the 993TT.

The raw feel and oneness of driver and 911 on the road / track. What else can you say but keep that classic 993 and that's my 0.2 cents.

P.S.: $$$$ permitting you can add to your 911 stable accordingly (I love them all)!
